My appointment was over the telephone so I’m unable to comment on the reception staff or the facilities. The practitioner sent me an email to say they had been unable to get hold of me by phone, when it hadn’t rung. I replied to the email and she called me again, this time getting through to me. It appeared that there was a problem with their telephone system. My telephone appointment was late due to this but I was happy that it went ahead, rather than being rescheduled.

Sarah was very understanding and informative

This is a fantastic service, secured an appointment within 24 hrs to speak to a specialist nurse regarding my menopause symptoms and treatment, as getting nowhere with my GP ( 6 week wait to even get a telephone consultation!). I was getting to the desperation stage after years of little/no help. Karen was so sympathetic and understanding, after listening to my story and symptoms she very quickly came up with a treatment plan for me which had never even been offered to me by my GP, yet I have since read it is the “Gold standard” of HRT treatment ( oestrogen gel plus oral progesterone). Prescription arrived within days, and have been following the directions for 3 days, already I think its having a positive effect. I have a review with Karen next month and I am confident she will advise me of an alternative if I don’t get on with this. FINALLY I am being listened to and helped accordingly….. just a shame that my GP has been so unhelpful/ useless and I’ve had to turn to private treatment – however, it’s been money well spent so far.

Some questions are not applicable because I had a telephone appt but I had to answer them in order to submit my review.

Karen was great, she is empathetic, has a lovely manner and explained things very clearly.

Emma was fantastic, very personable and chatty. The procedure was mildly painful for a few seconds but she worked quickly and minimised the discomfort. NuV has worked really well for me, really pleased with the results and will hopefully keep seeing the benefits now I have completed all 3 sessions.
